History
North40 Custom Cabinetry and Fine Woodworking grew from a love of woodworking shared by two friends. Peter Oxley and Doug Welch had each designed and built numerous projects from picture frames to chests of drawers. Friends and neighbors noticed the fine pieces each were producing, and began commissioning projects. Finally the two teamed up to turn their hobby into a business, building fine furniture and cabinets. Their love of woodworking shows in every piece built by North40.
